Well, Hello there! I'm Mrs. Rowland.  I am soooooo excited to be part of your year! We are going to have a great year.  A little bit about me, I live in Elmhurst, Illinois.  I grew up there and now raised my two sons there along with Mr. Rowland and our Boxer mix Lucy.  My family is very important to me.  My students are part of my family too.
     I have Bachelors in Fine Arts from Northern Illinois University and a Masters in the Arts of Teaching from National Louis University as well as endorsements in Special Education and English as a Second language. This is my eighth year of teaching, although I have spent the last 11 years in the classroom, educating and guiding exploration. 
     A few of my favorites things are... seeing my boys grow into young men, my doggy and Mr Rowland, the Chicago Bears,  chocolate, Yoga, Amazon, popcorn, drawing, reading, gardening, cooking and music!  I love positive attitudes too! My favorite color is red but there is no color I don't like.
